Nichole & Chief & Cactus
A strong and gracious cowgirl, who fearsomely loves her horses. That’s who I met.. I hope that’s what you see too. Thank you for coming out to the sunflower field with me, Nichole!
This was such a fun time in the sunflower field. It was a bit chaotic with 2 dogs and a horse, but Kelsey and Derek’s infectious love and laid back personalities made the chaos so fun! Kelsey was truly living a horse girl’s most magical life.
I stumbled upon Farmer Mark on Facebook. He is 100% a farmer although he would contest that he just a dad looking to make some extra money for his son’s baseball expenses, his flower field is a work of art. I wanted to snap some photos for Mark in his element so he can use them if he wants/ needs for future marketing. You can go check him out to pick your own flowers, or you can rent his space out for a small fee to shoot or create content!
The irony is, I love creating content for my clients. I often struggle with creating content for myself. When I found out about the sunflower field, I could not help it. Summer headshots and some lifestyle edits where the name of the game. Shoutout to my friend, Mary, for shooting this and being an amazing fellow professional horse girl. Check out her work at dumondphotography.com - She is amazing!
This was actually part of a bigger shoot with the Wolfs. They were visiting their childhood best friends from Iowa and wanted to capture both families together. There were lots of babies! But it sure was fun.
Do you believe in magic? I feel like I was watching these two right out of a fairy tale. There is nothing like your first horse. They teach you so much about life and yourself. I hope someday Cori looks back on these and it brings up the sweetest memories.
Taking pictures of the Wolf (resisting the urge to say “pack”) was so fun. Two littles grow up so fast so to be able to help document their family in such a special season of life was such a blessing.
It was such an honor to be trusted to take family photos of our dear friends (and fellow photographer). I feel like these photos captured their essence and I am really happy with how they turned out. It is not easy taking photos of a 3 year old, but Elliot did an amazing job. Brian and Kelsey also never got around to taking engagement photos, so getting some sweet shots of just them was so special. AND SHE IS STUNNING so that helps too.
EEEEK. I am just obsessed with this little family. It was something so beautiful to be able to capture the strong bonds between Megan and her fur babies, specifically Clem. These two are just the epitome of “dynamic duo”. Thank you so much for letting me capture your little fur family, Megan.
